AIRTEL is the fastest ???
A very warm hello to everyone, I, Ankit Sai am whole heartedly very glad to share my opinion on the ethical issues of one the leading telecom companies.
Actually what is ethics?
Ethics from a greek word "ethike" which means attribution to a social environment,it can be further defined as everything that is a part of society which can be allowed or forbidden.
The (ASCI) Advertising Standards Council of India reported that, While the advertiser submitted an Ookla certificate, they did not provide an explicit test methodology to substantiate that the method is robust to capture that the sample; and is representative and comparable across operators, geographies and consumers, the committee said.Airtel has claimed to be the fastest network based on a report by Seat tl e-based broadband testing firm Ookla. Another big networking company Reliance
jio has sent a legal notice to Ookla .While Airtel will contest the decision, Ookla said it fully stands behind Bharti Airtel being named ‘India’s Fastest Mobile Network.
They are also saying that if there is any other network is faster than them, they will pay their mobile bill for the whole life time. We all know that there are other networks who provides us the same or more faster internet services, as Vodafone, Jio Etc, so, this is an unethical practice of this company. If any reputed company like Airtel practice this kind of unethical marketing scheme then what about the code of conduct of the internal communication! Insspite of knowing everything about this kind of unethical practice if the internal employees and the stakeholders remain silent, that’s mean they are self interested . In this case we can say that they are not maintaining their CSR(Corporate social responsibility) ethically. So this kind of self interest of some executive officers of this kind of reputed companies may spoil the economy of any country.I am Sai Ankit, A student of Business LPU writing my first blog on unethical issue, I want to state that this kind of unethical practices of such reputed companies are misguiding our people and our society.
At last, i would conclude that those ( individual or any organisation) who do not follow ethical cultural in society..will have to face the future consequences.
